The Beginning…
Samir Mantri completed his master's program in 2012 and joined JJ Valaya as a senior designer for the menswear and couture line and learnt the ropes before venturing into his creative space. Samir's breakthrough year as an artist was in 2015 when he set out on his creative path with the launch of his label Irrau by Samir Mantri.

Irrau by Samir Mantri celebrates the integrity of centuries-old embroideries and artisanal work. ‘Irrau’ is a Japanese word that means to touch and feel. The atelier champions authentic mastership and time-honoured embroideries. Irrau by Samir Mantri skillfully juxtaposes the nostalgia of heritage with a modern feel, resulting in every creation embodying class and sophistication.
