What emerged as a passing idea over a dining table conversation became a reality as two sisters Himani and Anjali, collaborated to launch their fashion brand. Himani was already working with a start-up. After completing her Masters in International Business from San Francisco, she had the know-how, innovative ideas, and business intelligence to run a profitable business. On the other hand, Anjali who was 20 months younger than Himani, had a degree in fashion design from BD Somani and had gained experience working with established designers in the fashion industry. Equipped with complimenting strengths, Himani and Anjali, after all, decided to collaborate to bring their dinner idea to life. In September 2015, the enterprising Shah sisters – Himani and Anjali launched a couture label – Himani And Anjali Shah. Inspired by the Roman Goddess Venus, the label weaves beauty, love, sensuality, and desire into bridal outfits. Every design is curated to make a woman feel like a goddess on her special day.
