Poonam Bhagat, a psychology student wanted to pursue a career in psychology but she was squeamish about dissection, hence she decided to change her way and now is a self-made designer. In 1991 she introduced a label called TAIKA which means 'magic'. The collection is a reflection of its name. The unique quality of the designer is to picture her client in the outfit and then design accordingly which also leads to fulfilling clients expectations. The utmost attention is given to the colours and of course the quality of the product. The inspiration has been derived from pristine Indian textures and colours which gives a modern twist to the outfit.
